Pardes Center for Jewish Educators Graduation!

Of the five Pardes Day School Educators Program graduates, three received awards at the Hebrew College commencement ceremony for their accomplishments in the MA of Jewish Education program. Three students receiving awards is unprecedented – in the past, only one student per year has been honored. The award winners are:

    • LEO & SADIE FLAX FUND — Proficiency in the study of rabbinics (Judaic Studies) — Awarded to Hannah Borow, MJPE
    • DR. ALBERT & DOROTHY HOLZMAN PRIZE — For innovative instructional materials in Jewish Education — Awarded to Valerie Brown, MJPE
    • THE HARRY H. FEIN MEMORIAL PRIZE — For an outstanding student in graduate studies in Jewish Education — Awarded to Matthew Teitelman, MJPE

Pardes gratefully acknowledges the donors who support PCJE, including the Crown Family, Legacy Heritage Fund and the Jim Joseph Foundation. We are also grateful to AVI CHAI for its formative support for the Pardes Day School Educators Program and for the Pardes Center for Jewish Educators.
