The Pardes Day School Educators Program (PEP) prepares teachers to inspire a love of the Jewish people, text and tradition in Jewish day schools across North America.
Motivated by a vision of Jewish day schools as learning communities guided by Jewish texts and values that aspire to develop the whole child and support students’ intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual growth, PEP empowers and trains teachers to facilitate Jewish learning and experience, to consider a variety of learners, and to nurture curiosity and critical thinking.
PEP prepares teachers who will promote ideals of 21st-century learning and integrate current pedagogic approaches as they passionately bring the wisdom and ethical guidance of Judaism to life for their students.
