Learn the Torah of Gathering and become an innovative facilitator & community builder!
Join Pardes in either the Bay Area (CA) or Denver (CO) and learn Pardes’s dynamic and interactive style of pedagogy to inspire a deep love of Jewish text learning in intimate communities!
So much of Jewish life happens in the context of community, yet how often do our gatherings lack the warmth, inspiration and sense of purpose that we crave? In this day-long immersive experience, we will learn what Jewish tradition has to say about how to build community with intentionality. Together we will gain practical tools in order to create gatherings that lead to connection and belonging.
The Torah of Gathering Bootcamp will consist of:
Part 1: Day-long Intensive
Fellows will meet for an immersive regional gathering and study The Torah of Gathering curriculum with an intimate group of peers. This day-long gathering will consist of Torah learning, pedagogy training, as well as group building and shared meals.
Part 2: *Elective* Community Engagement Project
In addition to participating in the Torah of Gathering intensive, a select group of fellows will have the opportunity to transpose the inspiration and learning into a community initiative that engages other community members in their respective city. Fellows will have several months to carry out their community engagement project upon completion of the virtual sessions. Please note, being selected for the intensive does not automatically qualify you to the community engagement project – For more information, including project requirements and how to apply, please click here.
