Year '15-'16
As someone with a background in business, I was by all accounts headed down what most were calling a “successful” path. I had started my own small business which was quickly growing and exceeding all expectations. Yet I would wake up most mornings wondering what meaning I was deriving from my work, and failing to have any semblance of firm ground to fall back on.
After months of realizing how special Shabbat was to me and how I was interested in leading a more complete Jewish life, Pardes became an obvious choice. It has been a place where I have learned from incredible educators and a diverse body of students who bring a wide array of knowledge for me to absorb. Taking the time to immerse myself fully in Jewish learning has helped me build a solid base for the kind of life I want to live and the person I want to be. This will serve me for the rest of my life.
