Tony Julian Westbrook, Jr.

“I came to Pardes in August of 2016 with plans of only staying one year. I wanted to invest seriously in my Jewish knowledge and take it to the next level. I simply wanted to be a more learned Jew and not much else. I found myself captivated and inspired by all of my teachers here at Pardes. They showed me the value of Jewish education in the modern world by modeling the highest levels of Jewish values, encouraging students to bring themselves fully to the classroom, and a passion for all things Jewish. Because of these wonderful Jewish educators, last summer I worked in the experiential Jewish education world as the Judaics Director at Capital Camps in Waynesboro, PA. I loved the experience so much that I am now pursuing a career in Jewish education.”

Tony is passionate about teaching Judaism in new and exciting ways to Jews of all ages, backgrounds, and observance levels. Originally, from St. Louis, Missouri, he recently made Aliyah and now lives in Jerusalem, and studies full time as a second-year student here at Pardes.
