During 9 Adar: The Jewish Week of Constructive Disagreement, Pardes North America seeks to cultivate a culture of constructive disagreement across personal, political, religious and other divides. The 9th of the Hebrew month of Adar marks the day that two thousand years ago healthy disagreements “for the sake of Heaven” between Beit Hillel and Beit Shammai turned destructive, and it serves as a powerful reminder of what can happen when these values and skills are neglected. PNA commemorates this time with a week devoted to healing the broken discourse that challenges us today.
PNA has produced a 9 Adar themed reflection guide to be used at your Shabbat table and inspire discussion on the topic of constructive disagreement.

We are seeking a charismatic, creative, and action-oriented Assistant Director of Alumni Engagement and Activation to lead this initiative. This individual will play a key role in bridging the gap between the immersive Jerusalem-based Pardes experience and the ongoing life-long learning opportunities we offer in North America.
