If you’ve been watching the live cam or passing by the site, you’ll notice the newly built car ramp that wraps around the outside of the structure, stretching from floor -5.5 up to floor -3.5. This ramp will eventually provide critical access to the underground levels and is an essential part of the long-term site layout.
Pouring Continues on the Core
This weekend, crews are preparing to pour the cement for the core of the third underground floor. These vertical elements are at the heart of the building’s structure, supporting the elevator shafts, stairwells, and internal systems. You can already see much of this work taking shape.
A Look Inside
For the first time, we’re sharing a peek inside the completed core levels. These photos show the interior of the underground floors, which include mechanical rooms and storage units for future apartment owners. While these spaces may not be glamorous, they are critical for the building’s infrastructure—and seeing them complete marks an exciting step forward.
Now that the chagim are behind us, we’re looking forward to sharing more frequent updates as Beit Karen continues to rise!
