As summer turns to fall, the Beit Karen site is alive with momentum—and some major milestones have been achieved since our last update.
Second Crane Installed
One of the most visible changes to the skyline is the addition of a second crane, now installed and operational on the west side of the site along Pierre Koenig Street. With both cranes now in position, the site has doubled its capacity for vertical construction—helping accelerate the pace of work as we move into the next phase.
Pouring the First Walls and Ceiling
In August, the first walls of the ground floor (level -5) were poured. These walls form part of the structural core of the building, a key moment in the shift from excavation and prep work to real vertical growth. Shortly after, the first layer of the ceiling above this floor was also poured—laying the base for the next level above.
Waterproofing Underway
Along the outer perimeter of the excavated site, waterproofing work is actively being carried out. This critical step protects the building’s foundation and ensures long-term resilience against moisture and underground pressure.
Building Permit Secured
We’re proud to share that Pardes has officially received the full building permit for all underground levels and the first five floors above ground—covering the entire area Pardes will occupy. This permit marks a significant administrative and logistical achievement, enabling the continued progress without delay.
This season marks a turning point: Beit Karen is no longer just growing underground—it’s starting to rise. Stay tuned for more updates as we head into fall, and thank you for being part of this incredible journey.
