A Letter of Gratitude from Rabbi Leon Morris Pardes President

Dear Friends,

On behalf of the entire Pardes family, I am writing to express our deep gratitude to Josh Chadajo for his dedicated service to Pardes over the past 18 years.  During the span of Josh’s tenure, Pardes’s programmatic reach grew significantly. That growth required the kind of  adaptive leadership that he has provided for Pardes in North America and in Israel, and a meaningful expansion of our fundraising capacity each and every year.  Josh has led a diverse, international team of professionals and lay leaders to raise over $100 million dollars (to date) for Pardes. This amount includes over $25 million dollars for Pardes’s “Campaign for the Generations,” which will enable us to build our new home and secure an endowment for our future.  In addition to fundraising, his work has included deftly managing North American and Israeli staff; professionalizing Pardes’s financial and auditing operations; integrating Pardes’s global operations in close cooperation with Israel colleagues; and partnering with Jewish professionals and lay leaders in the field, promoting Pardes’s reputation for excellence and trust.

Josh’s professionalism, humor and menschlichkeit will leave a profound mark on Pardes for many years to come.  His contributions to our institution have been invaluable, and our continued success is indelibly linked to him.

We will have several opportunities in the months ahead to express our thanks to Josh and to honor his many accomplishments.  I am additionally grateful that Josh has agreed to stay on after September 30 as a Senior Advisor to help facilitate a smooth transition and ensure that Pardes continues to thrive.

Once again, on behalf of the entire Pardes family, I extend our heartfelt appreciation to Josh for his many years of devoted service to our organization.

Sincerely,

Leon A. Morris
