The Pardes Experiential Educators Program – Three-Year Master of Arts in Jewish Education is designed especially for Hillel professionals who will:
The Schusterman International Center is committed to each professional’s success and will support your job search, onboarding, and provide you with ongoing mentorship. Since our movement is large and diverse, professionals will need to be geographically flexible, as placement will be based on fit at a particular campus and availability of positions. The Schusterman International Center’s Talent Management Team will work closely with the professionals to support their placement.
If a suitable position is not found or the professional does not accept a campus position and work on campus for at least one academic year, an alternative placement at another Jewish organization or plan for financial repayment will be devised in consultation with the professional.
Full subsidies awarded to all students for four semesters at Pardes and summer ulpan; $800 per month living stipend for two 10-month periods.
For the two years of online study in Israel and for the third year of the program, when the Hillel professional is back on campus, continuing to study online and fulfilling their work practicum commitment, the professional will be responsible for the $14,930 in tuition for the MA degree.* The professionals will be eligible to apply for Hillel’s Marcus Talent Grants to offset some of these costs.
* Actual cost of the MA degree is $43,050, plus $695 service fee per semester of study. The William Davidson School of JTS generously offers a 75% subsidy. Hence, the $14,930 tuition total is $10,760 plus 6 x $695.
