“I first came to Pardes as part of the Birthright Israel Plus extension program. After 4 days at Pardes, I knew I had to come back and be a part of this community. Two months after I returned to the US, I left my job and did a complete 180 and came back to Israel to train to be a Day School educator. I couldn’t be happier!”
Helen is in Cohort 18 of the Pardes Day School Educators Program (PEP). Prior to Pardes, she worked as a hospital chaplain in Nashville, providing spiritual support for patients, families, and staff. Helen holds a MDiv in Pastoral Care from Vanderbilt Divinity School and a BA in Astronomy and History from Wellesley College. In her spare time, Helen likes to knit hats for her cat and give fellow Pardes students and staff motivational high fives.
