“I came to Pardes because I wanted to learn how to talk about and experience G-d. Growing up, we didn’t discuss these topics in my home or community. For most of my life, I was perfectly content living an intellectual, non-spiritual Jewish life because I couldn’t begin to imagine what I was missing. Studying at Pardes has given me the vocabulary to be able to comfortably speak about G-d and has connected me with a student body and faculty who have infused my life with spirituality and meaning.”
Susie joins the Pardes community from San Francisco, CA. After graduating from the University of California, Berkeley, she worked for a number of years as an Account Director at an advertising agency, where she helped companies close the gap between brand vision and customer experience. When she’s not studying Torah at Pardes, Susie spends her time making sculpture.
