“My desire to go to rabbinical school is what led me to Pardes. While I have a strong sense of Jewish identity, I felt like I had a lack of familiarity with traditional Jewish text which is why I came to Pardes. I am constantly impressed with how much more I know than how much I did when I started my year here. Not only the knowledge I have gained, but also the skills to obtain more textual knowledge when I move on to study elsewhere.”
I grew up in the Reform Movement of Southern California and am very tied to Camp Hess Kramer. I love to be outside, especially in a body of water when possible. My involvement and connection to the Jewish community has lead me to receive my bachelors degree in Jewish Studies and pursue a career in serving the Jewish community through the Rabbinate.
