Micha Yehudi

Besides all the amazing Torah learning I get to experience, I’ll never forget the unique opportunity Pardes gave me as a Jew who grew up in Israel. I got to discover for the first time all about the modern Jewish world outside of Israel, in North America and Europe, throughout Africa and the southern hemisphere. I had never imagined the richness and diversity of Judaism that thrives throughout the world.

After seven years as an officer in the IDF, Micha discovered Pardes and hasn’t left since, now in his second year as a Fellow. Along with his studies at Pardes, Micha volunteers in Shoval, an organisation that promotes tolerance of LGBT people within religious communities, and in the Jerusalem Open House as a youth counsellor.

Micha has been interviewed in several English and Hebrew news sources. To read a recent article about Micha on CNN, click here.
