Online Summer Curriculum Workshop

Program Description

The Online Summer Curriculum Workshop, staffed by experienced mentors and teacher-educators, provides participants up to 15 hours of individualized support, guidance and feedback on the development of a curricular unit and/or a professional project intended to be utilized at school in the upcoming academic year.

This process can include an exploration of the fundamentals of curriculum design, the sharing of resources and pedagogies unique to Jewish studies, access to planning templates and more.

The entire program is very flexible and can be scheduled over the course of the summer to meet the needs of each participant.

  • For novice Jewish studies day school classroom teachers.
  • For more experienced Jewish studies teachers who are taking on new grade levels or subject matter in the upcoming academic year.

The program is run entirely online and the 15 hour-long sessions can be scheduled over the course of the summer (roughly June 27 – August 20, 2021) at the convenience of the participants.

This program costs $750.
