An end-of-year siyum shiur with Rabbi Michael Hattin

Date: June 25th
Time: 11:00 am IST
Location: Online
Drawing from Isaiah’s portrayal of Cyrus of Persia as “God’s anointed,” Rabbi Hattin will explore how the Jewish people have navigated life under dominant powers—from ancient empires to modern superstates—and how surprising figures on the world stage have shaped Jewish destiny. Through timeless texts and historical insight, this shiur will examine power, providence, and resilience in the face of empire, offering a meaningful lens for understanding our world today.
