Open to current university students who have demonstrated notable leadership within their campus communities within the last two years, and are passionate about enriching Jewish life on campus, even beyond graduation. Limited slots available.
All fellows will receive a guaranteed living expenses grant ranging from $200-$400/month (exact amount determined by financial need) AND receive highly subsidized Year Program tuition: $3,000 discount for those not eligible for Masa Israel Journey funding, and $2,000 discount for those eligible for Masa funding.
While at Pardes, Fellows will work closely with the Engagement team to plan 2019-20 campus visits, recruitment and outreach efforts. Wherever possible, fellows will be supported in return visits to their alma maters as Pardes representatives in 2020-21, ideally alongside a Pardes staff or faculty member.
Fellows will be paired with a Pardes alumni mentor in their field of interest, and are encouraged to take advantage of leadership development opportunities available through Pardes and Masa (for those eligible).
Application requirements: A letter of nomination for the Fellowship from the campus professional most directly familiar with the candidate’s communal leadership should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org; this can be one of the two required recommendation letters, or an additional letter. A supplemental essay question is required, and a brief interview (in person or via skype) may be requested.
Candidates must fill out BOTH the 2019-20 Year Program application and the Fellowship application. Applications for this fellowship will be considered on a rolling basis so please be in touch.
