About Rabbanit Goldman BarashRabbanit Nechama Goldman Barash is a senior faculty member at the Pardes Institute for Jewish Studies, where she teaches contemporary halakha and Talmud, and also serves as the educational director of the bi-yearly Pardes Learning Seminar. Additionally she teaches at the Matan Women Torah's Institute and Midreshet Torah V’Avodah, a Bnei Akiva gap year program where she teaches Jewish medical ethics, social justice and women and halakha.
Nechama has a master’s degree in Talmud from Bar-Ilan University and is also a graduate of Nishmat’s Yoetzet Halacha program and Matan’s advanced halakha program, Hilkhata. She is currently working on a book dealing with matters of gender and halakha.
