9:00 am - 12:30 pm
Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies
29 Pierre Koenig Street, Talpiot, Jerusalem , Israel
This service is geared at beginners and is focused on learning. By carefully focusing on selected parts of the service we will discover how the Rosh Hashana prayers can serve as a powerful framework to create meaning for ourselves and our community.
What to expect:
The Pardes learners’ service will be held on the first morning of Rosh Hashana. We will have an abridged service with time to pray, sing, ask questions, discuss and learn. We will also blow the shofar. We highly encourage attendees to participate in the service.
Please bring a Koren Sacks or Artscroll mahzor if you can, and please bring a sweater in case the hall becomes cold. Three seating options: mixed, women only, men only. A Shabbat elevator is available. The service is a no-cell-phone zone.
There is no charge and no need to RSVP. For questions, email Aviva Golbert at firstname.lastname@example.org.
