As we shared last week, our general contractor, Achim Limor, wasted no time getting to work. Rather than waiting the expected two weeks to mobilize, they jumped into action immediately—and the energy at the Beit Karen site is palpable.
While the live construction cam continues to offer a real-time look at the growing activity, we also wanted to highlight a few key updates from the ground with photos and descriptions that capture the momentum.
What’s Happening on Site:
- Site Management Area Set Up
The bank area of the lot has now been fully leveled and fenced off, making way for operations to run smoothly. Management trailers are in place, serving as the central hub for coordination and oversight as work intensifies. - Safety Infrastructure Underway
In preparation for the arrival of a larger construction workforce, guard rails are being installed along the top perimeter of the site. Safety continues to be a top priority as we scale up. - Strategic Use of Pierre Koenig Street
There’s a brief but crucial window before infrastructure work for the Jerusalem light rail begins on Pierre Koenig Street. With special permission secured, Achim Limor is now using this area to move in and operate heavy equipment, maximizing efficiency and taking advantage of the time available on that side of the lot.
