September 2, 2022 — The process of installing the tiebacks continues. The workers are now attaching steel struts to cables that are anchored into the excavated rock wall. The beams in the pictures below are being placed on steel rods. Those will then be capped, with tension applied, thus supporting the integrity of the wall as the next three meters is excavated.
