(JERUSALEM – April 13, 2021) Pardes is delighted to announce that Rabbi Dr. Meesh Hammer-Kossoy has been appointed Director of the Year Program at Pardes. Meesh is uniquely positioned for this role and will oversee all aspects of the Year Program including admissions, program structure, curriculum, work with faculty and department heads, student welfare, and student activities.
Meesh has been on the faculty for 22 years and is herself a Pardes alumna. In addition to her current roles as Director of Admissions, Director of Community Engagement, and head of the Social Justice Track (which she founded), Meesh has previously served as Director of Recruitment. Meesh has played a central role in student activities for many years. For the past two years, she has contributed to Pardes’s overall vision and strategy as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, where she will continue to serve.
Pardes as a whole, and the Year Program, in particular, will benefit greatly from Meesh’s leadership, rabbinic presence, passion, and creativity. Pardes looks forward to continuing to work closely with Meesh in the years ahead.
