AYEKA AND PARDES ANNOUNCE COLLABORATION TO CREATE SOULFUL PARENTING PODCAST
Jerusalem, Israel, August 22, 2018 – Ayeka: The Center for Soulful Jewish Education today announced the release of the podcast mini-series Inspired Parenting: Jewish Tools for Reflection and Growth, together with the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies’ online Jewish learning site, Elmad. The series delves into the soulful side of parenting, prompting parents to ask themselves deeper questions, such as “How can our children help us change for the better? How can they inspire us to find more meaning when we approach prayer these High Holidays? And how can our honest conversations about living generously impact our children and ourselves?”
Through Jewish texts, personal anecdotes and a fair share of soulful reflection (and laughter!), Ayeka’s Becoming a Soulful Parent Director Dasee Berkowitz and longtime Pardes faculty member Tovah Leah Nachmani, both themselves educators and mothers, join together to offer insights into how parents can begin this High Holiday season of renewal with an open heart.
