Development Conference for Jewish Educators

The Pardes Center for Jewish Educators conducted a successful professional development conference for Jewish educators—including day school teachers, administrators and supplementary school educators—who gathered  at the Pearlstone Retreat Center to explore the topic of Cultivating the Whole Child Through a Jewish Lens. The participants, working at 17 different schools from across the US, spent three days engaged in text study; exploring new techniques and practices; and re-examining their priorities and commitments as educators. The experienced faculty— including Pardes’s Rabbi Zvi Hirschfield, Dr. Jeff Kress, 5 PCJE alumni and the PCJE staff—were delighted for the opportunity to work with such a passionate, open and thoughtful group of educators.
