In an epic fundraising push, Pardes raised more than $300,000 in just 24-hours in an “all or nothing” campaign. This incredible result was achieved with the help of three generous donors who agreed to match all donations up to the $200,000 mark.
With the matching contributions of Cindy and David Shapira, Moshe and Libby Werthan and a Friend of Pardes, the $200,000 target was reached in just seven hours.
Once the original target was met, fundraising went into a bonus round in which all donations were doubled. When the clock finally reached zero, a total of more than $300,000 had been raised.
Among the almost 600 supporters who made a pledge were a number of new donors. With their help, and with the help of existing donors, we will be able to make the unique Pardes educational experience available and affordable to as many new students as possible.
