“The Torah belongs to all Jews, and in many ways, I see myself as all Jews. I do not identify with a particular denomination or ideology. My mission is to share the Pardes message with as many types of Jews as possible: that Torah belongs to you too….When I got to Pardes, I was a beginner, and I felt so childish. But my teachers were inspiring and wouldn’t let me get away with not knowing. They expected so much of me. My first year of Pardes was the hardest I ever worked, not to mention how fun it was. Pardes is a meeting place of spectacular souls.”
