Hayim serves as a general resource for all of the students answering questions in the Beit Midrash and working with them in one-on-one study sessions of all topics; and he is the full-time substitute. He is also the official Mohel of Pardes and the surrounding community. He received Smikha from Rav Shlomo Riskin, Rav Yehoshua Reich, Rav Yoni Rosensweig, and Rav Zalman Nechemya Goldberg. Hayim did his undergraduate studies in Philosophy and Jewish Studies at the University of Rhode Island from 1996-2000. He then spent time studying education at the Jewish Theological Seminary, which led him to enter the Smikha program at Yeshivat Chovevei Torah. He later transferred to Yeshivat HaMivtar in Efrat where he completed his rabbinical studies and concurrently learned to be a Mohel. During his studies in Efrat he made aliyah and married his wife Lea and they now live in Jerusalem with their wonderful children.
