Record Enrollment Leads to Facilities Expansion at the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies

September 22, 2004 (7 Tishrei) Due to record enrollment in the Pardes Year, Educators, Fellows, and Kollel Programs, a physical expansion of the Pardes facilities will be dedicated on October 11 (26 Tishrei). In addition to an enlarged Beit Midrash, three classrooms are being added.

Pardes has recently added advanced programs to its Year Program which was first established in 1972. Advanced programs include the leadership development Fellows Program, the Kollel Advanced Learning Seminar and the Pardes Educator Program which combines an M.A. in Jewish Education from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem with a Certificate of Advanced Jewish Studies from Pardes.

Rabbi Daniel Landes, Director, commented "We started the new academic year at Pardes with great excitement and success. The diversity of students is broad, and the hopes, the morale and the expectations are extremely high. What is so amazing is the number of students who told us that they have been working for years towards making it to Pardes - and were finally here!"
